HIP and Elective Night Set for 8/28

Welcome Parent Teachers and Students...

Hello Parents, Teachers, and Students!
 
 
Welcome Back to our returnees and Welcome to our new faces! Hope everyone is having a wonderful and smooth transition.
 
I am excited to be returning for my fifth year as a member of the PTSO and SCC.  I have had the wonderful opportunity to serve as a parent and community member.  I started with my first son who was a part of the Malama track and continued on to graduate from the Blue track. My second son is now here as a 6th grader in the Blue track and is absolutely loving it! 
 
I would like to invite all of you to join us for our monthly meetings scheduled the second thursdays of the month at 5:30pm followed by our SCC meeting at 6:30pm in the main office.  This is a great way to hear the latest happenings on campus,  voice any concerns and or suggestions.

We are currently working on upcoming fundraisers.  If you have any info or suggestions you would like to share please don't hesitate to contact myself or Vice-Principal Hahn @627-9000

PTSO meeting on January 17 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the Office Conference Room.

School Community Council meeting will also be on the January 17th from 6:45 p.m. in the Office Conference Room.  

SCC Sponsored HIP and Electives Showcase Night Set

Our Electives teachers and High Interest Program advisors will also showcase their classes on Thursday, August 23 in the cafe from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Thank you all for your volunteerism and consideration to improving student achievement at Mililani Middle School.

The complete SCC membership will be announce at a later time.  Students and teachers are in the process of selecting people for representation on the Council.

Induction of members will be held at the July meeting.

Elections will be held during the period May 30 to June 6.  Ballots and Ballot Box will be located in the Mililani Midde School's front office.  Please feel free to cast your vote for our SCC Nominations.  One ballot per registered family.

RECYCLE WEEKS - Help Save Our Planet!!

RED & GREEN TRACKS :   3/27 - 3/30
BLUE & YELLOW TRACKS : 4/9 - 4/13

Please bring in your old and unwanted cell phones to be recycled.  Students are asked to bring them to be collected in their CORE 1 classes.  Parents may drop off cell phones to the front office.

Empty plastic water bottles will be collected BEFORE school during drop off at the front of the school.  Admin will be there to collect them from your vehicles.
